About Us
Cartsbridge Evangelical Church is an independent evangelical church with a membership of around 250 people. We do not have a minister, and the overall responsibility for the leadership of the church and for the spiritual growth and pastoral care of the members rests with a team of Elders.
The purpose of this Church is to glorify God in every area of its life and witness.
This purpose will be achieved through:
Witness
We will use every means of sharing the good news of salvation, individually and corporately, in word and deed. (Matt 28:19,20, 1Thess 2:8)
Discipleship
We will guide believers to grow in Christian maturity in all areas through example, Bible study and training. (2Tim 3:16,17, Col 1:29)
Worship
We will honour God through praise, prayer and preaching of His word. (Heb 10:19-25, Psalm 122:1 )
Fellowship
We will encourage one another as one body in Christ. (Eph 4:1-16, Col 3:12-14)
Service
As God gives us direction we will respond to the needs of our Community and the world. (Matt 25:35-46, Jas 2:14)
