Services
On most Sundays we have two services each Sunday morning. A crèche is available at each for very young children. The format on a Sunday evening varies, so check the programme for details.
10.00am Communion
A time to focus on Jesus by taking Communion, where members share, pray and worship together. You may find this service rather different from other church services you have attended! It lasts about an hour and there is no set format; instead members are free to share from the Bible, prayer or suggest a song. All these personal contributions help to focus us on Jesus – who He is, what He has done for us and the difference He makes in our lives. The culmination of the service is sharing Communion together – that is taking bread and wine as symbols of Jesus’ body and blood – to remind us that Jesus loves us so much that He died for us so we can know God.
Between the services tea and coffee is served and there is time to have a chat.
11.30am All Age
This is a busy and uplifting service for all the family. It lasts about an hour and includes a kids’ talk, praise, prayer and Bible teaching. All children aged 3 to 13 are welcome to join the Sunday Club which runs during the service.
6.30pm Evening Session
What happens on a Sunday evening does vary, so check the Home Page for details. The broad pattern is that on two Sundays a month we have a Bible teaching service. On the fourth Sunday of each month we will have a “Time to Talk” evening at the church where we have the chance to focus on one or two topics in more detail and in a more informal manner. On the second Sunday of the month we do not meet at the church, but meet as Home Groups.
6.30pm Junior Youth Fellowship
On Sunday evening , the Junior Youth Fellowship for S1-3 meets at the church. This is a very informal time with a mixture of fun and learning.
8.00pm Youth Fellowship
for S4 and above, meets at the church.
