Joseph is a well known character within the Bible; most would have heard the story of Joseph and his coat of many colours, but is there more to him than simply this association? The life of Joseph was turbulent from a young age and even before he was born, his father Jacob didn't exactly start out on the right track. But Jacob was inherently a man of God and having received the inheritance of his family, Joseph was born into a family of promise. Despite his difficult life, he served the Lord God and trusted in Him to fulfil his purpose, of taking his family, and the nation of Israel into the promised land.
