The Word of God is the perfect revelation of God to all of mankind. In it we learn of the 'depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God'. It explains the 'gospel of Christ' which is 'the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes'.
We are all asked to 'know the Holy Scriptures which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith which is in Jesus Christ'. For the believer in Christ 'all Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.'
It is because of these facts the teaching of God's Word is prioritised at Cartsbridge. Every Sunday morning the Bible is opened and explained for 'how then shall they call on Him in whom they have not believed? And how shall they believe in Him of whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear without a preacher?'
